Emma loves both sides of being a hairstylist—the creative outlet of working with hair and the opportunity to make someone feel genuinely good about themselves. She especially enjoys highlights and hair color, while continuing to explore different techniques and develop the specialties that will define her career.

Emma pays attention to the person in her chair. As guests return, she makes a point to remember the little details they’ve shared, building a relationship that makes each appointment feel more familiar and personal.

One experience that has stayed with her involved a guest who arrived overwhelmed after a stressful day at work. Instead of treating it like just another appointment, Emma focused on making the entire visit as relaxing as possible. When her guest told her afterward how much she had needed that experience, it was a reminder that being a hairstylist can impact someone in ways that go far beyond their finished hair.
