For Maya, beauty isn’t about making everyone look the same—it’s about helping people bring the version of themselves they imagine to life.
Her creative side naturally gravitates toward funky color, interesting cuts, and looks with personality, but she doesn’t want to be defined by one aesthetic. With training in both hair and esthetics, Maya is equally interested in expanding her knowledge of color and cutting as she is in skincare and concerns such as acne.
She’s also realistic about beauty. During school, Maya worked with a guest wanting to transition from black box color to a much lighter result. Instead of promising something the hair couldn’t safely achieve in one visit, she worked toward a beautiful first step the guest could feel good about. It taught her an important lesson she carries into her work today: sometimes the best service isn’t about getting everything perfect immediately—it’s about being honest, protecting the guest, and creating a plan to get there.
Maya wants her appointments to feel personal. She listens, asks questions, and remembers the things guests share with her so the next visit feels like a continuation of the relationship rather than starting over.
