Mya is at the beginning of her career behind the chair, and that’s exactly what makes this stage so exciting for her. She’s curious, open to learning, and ready to try new techniques as she discovers where her creativity will take her.

What drew Mya to hairstyling was simple: she loves the way hair can change how someone feels. Whether a guest wants to embrace their natural hair or completely switch things up, she wants them to feel comfortable, confident, and excited about the result.

In Mya’s chair, expect her to listen first. She likes to hear what you’re envisioning, talk through the possibilities, and build the service from there rather than assuming she already knows what you want.

As both an assistant and stylist at Centre Salons & Spas, Mya is gaining hands-on experience in haircutting, color, styling, and guest care. She especially appreciates being surrounded by a team that jumps in to help each other and gives newer stylists the opportunity to learn.

Right now, Mya isn’t interested in putting herself into one specialty box. She wants to learn it all, try it all, and keep becoming a stronger stylist with every guest she meets.
